By downloading, installing, or using StepLimit ("App"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. Your use is also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.
StepLimit is an iOS application that links access to apps you choose with step goals you set. It reads step count data from Apple HealthKit and uses the Screen Time API to manage app restrictions based on whether your daily goal has been met.
StepLimit does not require an account. All your data stays on your device. There is no login, no profile, and no server that stores information about you — except for crash and performance diagnostics sent to Sentry as described in our Privacy Policy.
StepLimit is a motivational tool, not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any health condition. Consult a healthcare provider before making significant changes to your physical activity level.
The App and all its content — design, code, text, icons — are the exclusive property of StepLimit and its licensors, protected by copyright and other applicable law. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute the App.
You may not use the App in any way that violates applicable law or regulation, infringes the rights of others, or interferes with the App's operation.
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will always accurately reflect HealthKit or Screen Time data.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StepLimit and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
